I learned today that our local electric utility, Duke Energy, is offering 40% off coupons for Compact Fluorescent light bulbs purchased at local Lowes home improvement centers.

The coupons can be retrieved and printed from https://www.duke-energy.com/north-carolina/savings/cfl-coupon.asp

The coupons expire on 8/11/2009.

If you are not a Duke Energy customer, check with your local electric utility to see if they have any similar promotions.
