I never quite understood Shabby Chic design style. Shabby meaning "in poor condition" and Chic being "elegant and sophisticated". An oxymoron if I ever heard one. Center the stencil on top of the table. Using the foam stencil brush pounce the topcoat over the stencil being careful not to go over the edges of the table.
To check for any possible missed places carefully hold down the stencil at any edge with one hand while gently lifting from the opposite side to peek underneath. If you got it all then remove the stencil and let it dry.
